Entertainment Schedule

Every hour you'll enjoy live demonstrations from the Iron Range Dog Training Club and The Duluth Kennel Club. Here is the list of confirmed demonstrations:

Earthdog - Saturday 2pm and Sunday 3pm - a test developed to judge a terrier or dachshund ability to find vermin. These dogs race through a maze to find their quarry.

Herding - Saturday 1pm and Sunday 11am - come see the dogs herd ducks!

Tracking - Saturday 12pm and Sunday 1pm - dogs follow a scent to locate a missing item.

Rally - Saturday 11am and Sunday 2pm - teams follow a course designed to test their ability to work together using verbal an hand signals.

Agility- Saturday 4pm and Sunday 12pm  - fast pace teams running an obstacle course.

Retrieving - Saturday 3pm - dogs learning to retrieve  1 to 3 articles at a distance, testing memory, marking ability and quickness on the retrieve.

Obedience - Saturday 11am and Sunday 2pm- teams perform a predetermined pattern with out talking or hand signals.

"Meet The Breed"

Following each show check out "Meet The Breed".  The dog breeds will be introduced and paraded around the entertainment ring and then be available for up close and personal meetings and some Q&A with the owners. Here is a list of confimed breeds that will be at The Twin Ports Pet Expo:

Saturday - NovaScotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,Border Collies, German Shepherds, Brittany, American Eskimo, Parson Russell Terrier, Scottish Deerhounds, Australian Shepherds and more.

Sunday - German Shepherds, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel,Parson Russell Terrier, Scottish Deerhounds,Border Collies and more!
